Bedrock river’s morphology analysis. Evolutive and hydrologic implications in two spanish canyons

Spain has an important diversity and richness of fluvial systems, specially mountain rivers. Bedrock Rivers have the response to many questions applied to alluvial rivers. Low erosion rates and good preservation make of these fluvial systems an excellent natural flume of experimentation. General morphology and small forms appear punctually doubt to local conditions like slope, discharge and bedload. Substrate plays an important role but not essential in morphology development. Hydraulic conditions is the most important factor that controls bedrock forms and floods are the instrument that realize punctual changes. We can understand the canyons like a river with different base levels in which both, hydraulics and climate (rainfall) help to morphology´s building and in which degradation appears in multiple fronts.
